Team Limerick Clean-Up’s ‘Decorate a BIG TLC Christmas Tree’ Competition is back and better than ever! 

To kick off the festive season, Team Limerick Clean-Up is inviting primary schools across Limerick to get involved in our ‘Decorate a Big TLC Christmas Tree’ competition. ALL entries will be displayed in the Crescent Shopping Centre for the month of December.

Students will receive a big 1.5 metre high Christmas tree to decorate as a class group using recycled and recyclable materials. Please note that ALL materials used on the trees must be recyclable. 

The aim of the competition is to promote greater awareness of Team Limerick Clean-Up and highlight the importance of protecting the environment amongst primary school students. This collaborative project also provides students with an opportunity to be creative while working together as a team. This year, we celebrated 10 Years of Team Limerick Clean-Up and we are looking forward to rounding up a wonderful year with our fun and festive Christmas Tree Competition!

The competition has four categories:
1. Junior Competition (Junior and Senior infants)
2. Intermediate Competition (1^{st to} 4^th class)
3. Senior Competition (5^th and 6^th class) 
4. Additional Educational Needs Category 

Prizes: 

Vouchers for school equipment (€750 for 1^st prize, €550 for 2^nd prize and €350 for 3^rd prize in each category). All collected trees will be displayed in the Crescent Shopping Centre and the winners will be invited to a special awards ceremony in December to accept their prizes.
