Decorate a BIG TLC Christmas Tree Competition 2024
We had over 50 primary schools across Limerick City and County get involved in Team Limerick Clean-Up’s ‘Decorate a BIG TLC Christmas Tree’ Competition.
To kick off the festive season, pupils were asked to decorate a large Christmas tree with their class group using recycled and recyclable materials.
The aim of the competition was to promote greater awareness of Team Limerick Clean-Up and highlight the importance of protecting the environment amongst primary school students. This collaborative project also provided pupils with an opportunity to be creative while working together as a team.
The competition had three categories:
- Junior Competition (Junior and Senior infants)
- Intermediate Competition (1st to 4th class)
- Senior Competition (5th and 6th class)
Prizes in each category were as follows: €750 for 1st prize, €550 for 2nd prize and €350 for 3rd prize.
